How this works: Each team has a “Flag” (an IMAGE member wearing a cuprum plate helm – Tindremic and Draconian – These are bright yellow) – Each team starts at their flag location – Each team will be told the location of the other team at the time of starting the match.
To capture the flag a player on the other team has to kill the Flag – Loot the helm and put it on – Then return to their “Flag”
Each flag is located at a Wilderness priest.
In the case that the IMAGE member no longer has the “Flag” and both flags are returned to him at the same time – The IMAGE member has to stand there with both flags for twice the time he didn’t have a flag before the winner is declared
When a Flag is picked up it must immediately be put on by the person who looted it – Making it clear who has the flag – IMAGE Judges will be standing by to make sure this rule is followed.
We’d like to hold this first event on Friday – And need 2 Teams to sign up. Times and Locations will be privately given to the first 2 teams to sign up.
Our initial thoughts on this are for entrance fee to be 50g Per team – Winner take all – If more is willing to be wagered by both sides we will arrange that privately.
Teams can be made of however many members you want so bring the noise.
Side bets on what team will win will also be taken – When 2 teams sign up we will post who they are and betting will then be open.
To sign up post your intent in the comment section here – with your IRC name and you will be contacted VIA IRC.
After 5 days of having this event announced – and dozens of people saying they would be there and what a great idea it was – The First IMAGE Manhunt ended up underwhelming – but it was really fun for all involved.
Within the last hour people started complaining that 5g was too expensive to join – and they didn’t want to risk it. Even though every IMAGE member has 100+ gold in their banks – it seems nearly everyone else who plays MO are retar… umm… Less than stellar gamers who don’t know how to earn money.
We were forced to drop the entry fee to 1g per player and in the end we had 14 players sign up – and get in our private vent server set up specifically for this event. Oddly enough none of the major guilds had the chutzpah to enter – unfortunate for them – good for our solo entries.
The event started when everyone in vent were given a series of clues, each one more diabolical than the next, as to where the one being hunted would be located.
“Seek thee out the Black Knight outside the highest tower ”
“The mountain laughs at you”
“The hills have eyes”
“THERE IS A GOD DAMN TOWER ON TOP OF THE CLIFF WITH FACES ON IT YOU SCRUBS”
I can’t be sure, but the last clue might have been a little too sneaky and cryptic. Never the less 4 of the 14 were able to find Vexx and take him out. It was all out madness as a 5 man FFA took place – In the end only 2 lived – one being able to loot the item off Vexx the Hunted and escape on his wisely placed horse.
Congrats to you the Guildless Braxx – Winner of the First IMAGE manhunt – Your noble *cough cowardly escape cough* fighting earned you 14gold for an hour of your time
Thanks to all the people involved hope you all had as much fun as we did – The below video is of the moments before and after the battle – in the start you see Vexx turning gray, as promised no murder counts for killing The Hunted were awarded – Filmed by LanMandragon.
The first IMAGE FaburnRUN was a mild success – A total of 24 runners (Only 7 of them IMAGE members) left Vadda 30 mins late – but they all took off at the same time.
Early reports of large groups of PK’s waiting on Wisent hill came out to be true and hilarious. Just before the race we told the contestants to run in a large west arch, and hug the mountain, towards Maduli before heading to Fabernum would likely be the best bet – The winners of our contest heeded this advice, I’m fairly sure the ones who went Towards the Colored forest were slaughtered, their names will be… Wait, who was that?
Many of the runners had no protection and ran in Rags – however there were a few brave souls who went in armor – We don’t know what happened – Hopefully someone frapsed it.
Now for the moment you have all been waiting for!

Time will be recorded for the top 3 using an iPhone stopwatch app – and posted with the winners names.
Are there any Rules?
Horses are not allowed for contestants (we know the average time on foot, and if you are well above that you will be disqualified – in the case of a disqualification you will not be refunded and you and your guild will be barred from future IMAGE events.
(Coming soon: Look for IMAGE Fight Night, nightly gambling events outside Faburnum)
PKing is allowed (as it really can’t be stopped) during the race so bring your guild to take out the competition and/or offer protection – Run at your own risk.
Is there an entrance fee?
There is an entrance fee of 50 silver – This will make up the prize pool. This fee is payable up to 30 mins before the race starts – so tell your friends – the more runners the bigger the prizes! – Entry Fees are being collected now – so get yours in!
How do I enter?
To enter find [IMG]Asmodiar in IRC and send a message – OR – Find Character IMAGE near the Faburnum Bank! – Once you have paid you will be added to the list of contestants at the bottom of this post.
What if I pay for the entrance and can’t show up?
If you pay your entrance fee and don’t show up – We regretfully cannot refund your money as it becomes part of the prize pool.
What happens if there is a crash (or the race causes a crash) during the race?

Will be the crappiest weapons we use in Mortal after today don’t it feel good?
Mortal Online opened the doors to the world of Nave at approximately 9am MST, June 9th 2010.
The servers were stable throughout the morning until the population on the server increased and we experienced hourly server crashes. Thankfully the servers were only down for about fifteen minutes at a time – just enough time to get up, stretch the legs, and refill the goblets. Overall, release day for IMAGE turned out to be a success, with many members coming out of the woodwork to bolster the ranks – alongside some new recruits – to complete the majority of our release day goals.
So if you have not already done so, get in vent, patch up, and come enjoy the world of Nave with us.

Now with relative sense of immediacy!
Also, new post on imageclan.us! If you are reading this right now, you knew that!
Two new announcements in announcement section on forums!
Exclamation marks!!!
Okay so maybe sausage lake hasn’t changed much but the rest of MO sure has.
If you still think Mortal Online is still the crashfest of yesterday than think again. With several patches already released SV has been putting in a lot of extra hours ever advancing their robot baby. Despite what the official forums or the IRC trolls might say the game has been taking a lot of steps forward since release. Although player housing and siege warfare is more than likely a ways off, don’t be too surprised if you come across a midget on horseback chasing you with fireballs in the next week or so.
Mortal Online Full Loot Bag: 92 Bucks
Cost of repairing my brain from reading too many troll posts on MO forums: $40,000
Knowing that MO is epic: Priceless
THIS GAME IS TOO EXPENSIVE!
B BLOCK MIGHT GET PUSHED BACK???!?!?!?!!!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?1!?
WTF IS A TERRORBIRD LOL!
If you were wondering if there was anything interesting on the forums – turns out no.
Mortal Online keeps patching and hopefully will be up and stable soon.
