Mortal Online opened the doors to the world of Nave at approximately 9am MST, June 9th 2010.

The servers were stable throughout the morning until the population on the server increased and we experienced hourly server crashes. Thankfully the servers were only down for about fifteen minutes at a time – just enough time to get up, stretch the legs, and refill the goblets. Overall, release day for IMAGE turned out to be a success, with many members coming out of the woodwork to bolster the ranks – alongside some new recruits – to complete the majority of our release day goals.

So if you have not already done so, get in vent, patch up, and come enjoy the world of Nave with us.

With Mortal launching OMG TOMORROW!!! New recruits are hitting our board as expected. We got 3 last night, 2 were given access 1 was turned away.

It’s hard to become a part of IMAGE – you have to not suck at life and not be a cheater… I know, I know – This is a fairly high standard. We are all gamers after all.

When it comes down to becoming a part of IMAGE it is not about how leet your skillz are. It is not about how much money you can donate to the clan to keep vent going or to keep this awesome main page updated (seriously, how awesome is this clan site?). Being a part of IMAGE is about fitting in with the group.

One of the best parts is being able to hop on vent and be talking with a group of real friends. If we all lived in the same area we could all hang out and get a beer – and it would be fun. IMAGE is first and foremost a community of friends.

There is no real drama here (but you have to be able to dish out and  take a joke and likewise criticism). There are no real ranks (other than forum/vent privileges). While we like to think we are fairly competent gamers – even if you suck at games, as long as you fit in with the group, you can be a part of IMAGE. We will help you get better (of course if you are hopeless and show no improvement or potential, people will end up not liking you and you won’t fit in).

Get in vent, say hi, and join the conversation – If you don’t talk no one will know you and you will end up not enjoying your time with us.

Okay so maybe sausage lake hasn’t changed much but the rest of MO sure has.

If you still think Mortal Online is  still the crashfest of yesterday than think again.  With several patches already released SV has been putting in a lot of extra hours ever advancing their robot baby.  Despite what the official forums or the IRC trolls might say the game has been taking a lot of steps forward since release.  Although player housing and siege warfare is more than likely a ways off, don’t be too surprised if you come across a midget on horseback chasing you with fireballs in the next week or so.

We are fully aware of that we have some problems with the payment step at GC and we are working on it. So please be patient with us.
For those who have been charged more than once will be corrected as soon as possible.

GC now confirmed that the shop should be working properly.
Please note that if you chose wrong country when using credit cards as a payment solution of any kind the payment wont work.

Please make sure you write your name identically like it says on your credit card, theres a few who did write it none identically which also means a rejected payment.

Concerning blocks. (A-E)
Unfortunately, last nights rush resulted in a significant amount of unsuccessful payments. Consequently, we have decided to prolong the reservation time and give users a second chance to complete their payment.
Block rank is based on when you initiated your payment, which means that your respective “rank position” is also reserved. As a result, when more unsuccessful payments are completed, other users are moved down in “rank position”. This means that there is a chance you’ll be moved between blocks, for example from A -> B.

Please remember that the boxed versions include shipping (€7 worldwide) and for all Europeans you must pay 25% VAT. The box is a huge cost for us as we are forced to put that cost on the customer, meaning we do not earn anything more over the normal rate. We did this because there was a demand from the community and we listened. EU laws force us to add 25% VAT on all European costumers, unfortunately this must be put on the customers payment which indeed make the game a bit pricy for all Europeans. This is your choice to buy the boxed version or not. We did it because the community wanted one and we do agree it get a bit expensive, unfortunately we cannot sell these boxes with a loss.

If this is too expensive then there will be a digital download only version starting on Monday 20th of July, this is the version we meant is going to be cheaper than most other new launched mmos. (If not all 10k copies are sold out fore 20th that is)

As stated before we have a large amount of US players and we are already looking into starting a NA server if needed and if everything works well with our first server. We may also be looking at increasing the amount of players accepted at that stage if we need to or if the servers are stable enough.
In the first beta phase we will also know for sure how the latency works in real time combat for US players on our EU servers. This also effects when we need to start a NA server.

For those who have initiating or pending status you should have a successful buy within some hours.

We noticed most issues we had so far is people is writing wrong names or dress so it doesn’t match the credit card, If you have not yet tried to many times, I think around 7 times you will be able to change to correct info then try again and it should work. If you have tried more than 7 times the card is blocked as fraud. We will have to solve this tomorrow.

- Heavy animation alignment and scripting rewrites that speed up the pace of combat and reduce waiting times in-between actions to smoothen transitions and combat actions
